GEE Ibn Amigo is a 1993 dark chestnut straight Spanish stallion.
He has an exotic head and passes that on to his foals. His
sweet temperament is very characteristic of the Spanish horses. This,
too, is passed on to his foals.
His sire line contains 5 crosses to Congo through Zancudo
and Tabal. Zancudo had lovely movement and was known to pass this
on to his get. His sire line also contains 3 lines to Maquillo.
Maquillo was a well known broodmare sire who produced such great horses
as the dams of Garbo, *Sidi-Brahim, and *GG Samir. He produced
the grand sire of *Sasaki and was the sire of Bambu, who in turn
sired *Delerio and *Aram.
Astute breeders know the importance of the dam line in a horse's
pedigree. GEE Ibn Amigo has an awesome dam line. His dam is
a daughter of the great Spanish stallion, Garbo. Garbo was a phenomenal
broodmare sire. Amigo's dam is a granddaughter of Ocalina who was
a wonderful producing mare (18 foals) for the Spanish government.
Ocalina is found in the dam line of such greats as Bambu, *Aram, *Abha
Hamir, *Dajalieh, *Delerio, *Almansor, *Abha Odalic, Jabalpur, Efigie SSB,
Galaxia SSB, Iberia SSB, Jezabel SSB, and Sargento to name a few.
Several of these horses are US National winners in halter and performance
competition.
