I truly believe he is one of the special great ones."

Type, beauty, balance, disposition, and athleticism.  That's the Spanish bred Arabian !!!

Virtually every profile written by Spanish breeders in the breed journals lists two common traits of the Spanish Arabian that drew them to those bloodlines.  The first, and most important, is disposition.  The second trait is the lovely dark Spanish eyes.  Almost without exception, these qualities show up as being extremely important to the Spanish breeder.  That famed Spanish disposition is the key factor in making the Spanish Arabian a true all round horse, not just a one trick pony. Gibran Ibn Defina (*LA Saguro x Deifina)And isn't that what the Arabian horse is all about - VERSATILITY?   But that's not all.....the Spanish Arabian has excelled at reproducing  those qualities.  The Spanish mares have produced outstanding get when out crossed with different bloodlines.  There are proven results when they have been crossed with horses of Russian, Crabbet, Polish, and Egyptian backgrounds.  The Spanish stallions haven't done too bad, either.  Just look at the impact *Barich de Washoe, *An Malik, and  *GG Samir have had on mares of varied bloodlines.
Please take a minute to wander through our web site.  If you are not familiar with the wonderful Spanish horses, acquaint yourself with what these superlative bloodlines have to offer today's Arabian horse.
